I haven’t really been happy with my opportunities to get some photos lately so I asked Adam if he and Mandi would like to go to downtown Fort Worth some Saturday morning and take some pictures. They say the light is best early in the morning or late in the evening. At 5:30am this morning I was kicking myself, but it was worth it.

This is probably half of them that I’ll end up editing, so more to come later.

Since nobody seemed to guess why I took the picture in the previous post, I decided to post some hints.

Why on earth did I take this shot after work tonight?

We went dancing in Fort Worth on Saturday, but first went to Fred’s for a pool party and some food.

Took Lucky to the park again.

The weekend didn’t present any photo ops for me, the majority of this set is going to be of Lucky at the park. But first, my super duper awesome new cd player I put in my car. The only reason I did it was so I could hook my phone up to it to listen to mp3s/pandora.

This guy wouldn’t beat Lucky to the ball, but if Lucky missed it this guy would snag it.

There’s a trail in some trees (mini woods?) in the back of the area.

This is why I can’t be a dog owner…they plop down in mud.

If I had a macro lens this could have been a nice image. I saw a wasp flying around and it landed on the ground so I went to take pictures of it. It had caught this little worm thing and started biting it or something, then it took off with the worm.

Lately MJ has been having issues around the house. The other week he wet himself when I walked in the door….apparently I scared him. Then two other instances within the past week he has puked hairballs up. I figured it’s probably from shedding so much because it’s summer, so I got the ferminator out and went to town!

Today I cut up some vegetables and put them in baggies so I can just grab and toss into my lunch box before work. I also plucked two bags full of grapes. I am pretty much obsessed with grapes, as you can tell by the excess in the container down below.

I have always wanted to get some pictures of me cycling. I have some from the triathlon I did in 2008 but I want more. While doing my intervals today, I decided to take the bike out back when I got home, put the camera on the tripod and ride the rollers. It didn’t work out so well. It was painfully hot at 10am, plus I had just finished riding so I wasn’t in the mood, but I tried. My goal was to get a shot of me and my handle bars, with sky in the background. Eh. (Yes, I realize my helmet is crooked. Again, another reason why it would be nice to have someone else take the pictures so they can tell me these things.)
